Help with the Circles Plugin.
Choose the issue that matches what you’re trying to do. Most problems are fixed by installing the latest version, reinstalling your content, or doing a clean reinstall.

Start here if you need to download Circles, install it, open it in your DAW, or log in.
Fix missing content
Use this if the plugin opens, but your factory content or expansion packs are not showing up.

Use this if Circles is acting weird, not loading correctly, or you want to fully reset it.
Install or activate Circles
This is the normal setup flow. Download the installer from your account, run it, open Circles in your DAW, then log in inside the plugin.
- Go to Account & Downloads.
- Sign in with the same email address you used at checkout or for beta access.
- Download the latest Circles Plugin installer.
- Quit your DAW before installing. Fully close Logic, Ableton, Pro Tools, Studio One, etc.
- Open the
.pkginstaller and follow the steps. - Open your DAW and load the Circles Plugin.
- Log in inside Circles using your Circles account email.
Mac security warning
If macOS says the installer cannot be opened or cannot verify the developer, right-click the installer and choose Open.
You can also go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and allow the installer from there.
Fix missing content
Use this if Circles opens, but factory content or expansion packs are not showing up. The main plugin installer includes factory content. Expansion packs are installed separately.
- Quit your DAW.
- Reinstall the latest Circles Plugin installer from Account & Downloads.
- If you own expansion packs, download and run those pack installers too.
- Open your DAW again.
- Load Circles and log in with your Circles account.
Advanced: Mac content location
On Mac, Circles factory content and expansion pack content are installed here:
You usually do not need to move anything manually. Only check this folder if content is missing or support asks you to confirm the installed location.
Expansion packs
Expansion pack installers automatically place their content in the Circles shared library folder on Mac.
After installing a pack, quit and reopen your DAW, then open Circles again.
Clean uninstall & reinstall
Only do this if a normal reinstall does not fix the issue. This removes the current plugin files and installed content so you can reinstall everything cleanly.
- Quit your DAW. Fully close Logic, Ableton, Pro Tools, Studio One, or any other DAW.
- Delete the existing Circles Plugin files. Remove the AU, VST3, and/or AAX files from your Mac.
- Delete the existing Circles content folder. This removes the installed factory content and Circles libraries.
- Download the latest installer. Go to Account & Downloads and download the newest Circles Plugin installer.
- Run the installer. This reinstalls the plugin formats and included factory content.
- Reinstall expansion packs. If you own additional Circles packs, download and run those installers too.
- Open your DAW and log in. Load Circles and sign in using your Circles account email.
Advanced: exact Mac plugin files to delete
Delete any existing Circles Plugin files from these folders:
Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
Delete:
Circles.component
Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
Delete:
Circles.vst3
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/
Delete:

Plugin still does not show in my DAW
Restart your computer, reopen your DAW, and rescan plugins inside your DAW’s plugin manager.
For Pro Tools, make sure the AAX version is installed. You may need to restart your computer after installing.
